Moonglow Guesthouse

Moonglow Guesthouse is situated on the slopes of the Glencairn mountain and overlooks False Bay. It is located on the Cape Point Route, which offers visitors a variety of activities such as boat trips, visits to Cape Point, Penguins, an ostrich farm, local art and curios, kayaking, and beautiful scenery. The panoramic view starts with Glencairn Beach and sweeps around the bay, where in the distance, the Hangklip mountain and Simon's Town, the historical naval town of South Africa, can be seen. At night, the sight of the moon's path of light across the bay is a spectacle to behold, as are the twinkling lights all around the bay.

Moonglow Guesthouse is conveniently situated for visiting local peninsula attractions but remains within easy reach of Cape Town and its surroundings. Breakfast is served in the dining room downstairs, which also offers spectacular sea views. The rates include a full English breakfast with cereals, yoghurt, seasonal fruits, bacon and eggs, toast, fruit juice, and tea or coffee. There is a lounge with a ceiling-high bookcase where guests can sit, relax, and read books.

The Nautical Room is furnished with white-washed wood, giving it a distinct nautical feel. Room one is more secluded, suitable for guests who prefer a private atmosphere. It features a queen bed with an en-suite shower and a lesser sea view.
