Morendat House

Morendat House is a newly restored classic building located in the horseshoe area of Graaff-Reinet. It features yellowwood floors, high ceilings, and thick walls to keep the interior cool. The house has a private courtyard and has access to the Townhouse's large garden and firepit, making it ideal for large groups of up to fifteen people.

The tastefully furnished house comprises three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and air conditioning. One of the bedrooms is directly off the courtyard. The house also includes a kitchen and a living area. The first and second bedrooms each contain a queen-size bed, while the third bedroom has a double bed. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, an oven and stove, as well as a dishwasher for guests' convenience.

Washing machine services are available upon request, and cleaning services can also be arranged. The owners have a farm located 15 km from the town, within the National Park, where guests are welcome to engage in activities such as hill walking, mountain biking, bird watching, and enjoying the wide open spaces and fresh air. Private experiences, such as veld dinners and sundowners, can be organized upon request.
