Morokolo Safari Lodge

Morokolo Safari Lodge is an exclusive boutique establishment situated on the northern slopes of the Pilanesberg Mountains within the Black Rhino Game Reserve, which has been recently incorporated into the Pilanesberg National Park. Located just 2.5 hours from Johannesburg, the lodge is positioned in a malaria-free zone and offers one of Africa's richest diversities of wildlife, fauna, and flora.

The property features two accommodation options: a 4 Suite Lodge and an Executive Suite. The 4 Suite Lodge comprises three double suites and one family suite, accommodating up to eight adults and two children under 12. Each suite is fully air-conditioned with modern en-suite bathrooms, private courtyards, and both indoor and outdoor showers. The Executive Suite offers a more intimate setting for two adults, featuring a separate bedroom, lounge area, and fully equipped kitchen.

The lodge's main facilities include a crystal-clear swimming pool, a six-seater Jacuzzi, and comprehensive entertainment areas. A lounge with TV and DSTV, a bar area with a pool table, and various board games are available for guests' enjoyment. The property operates on a self-catering basis, with each suite equipped with tea and coffee-making facilities and unstocked mini-bars.

Wildlife activities center around game drives in top-of-the-range 10-seater open safari vehicles, led by professional rangers. The Black Rhino Reserve is home to the Big 5 and numerous other species, including cheetah, wild dog, and various antelope species. The area is particularly notable for its bird population, with over 354 recorded species.

Additional activities available in the vicinity include hot air ballooning, rope adventure courses, quad biking through Letsatsing Game Park, and archery.
