Morokolo Safari Lodge is situated on the northern slopes of the Pilanesberg Mountains in the Black Rhino Game Reserve, which has recently been incorporated into the Pilanesberg National Park. The lodge features one of the richest varieties of African wildlife, predators, fauna, and flora in Africa. It is a small, private lodge tucked away from the rest of the world.

The lodge offers an African safari experience on 10-seater game viewers with a dedicated game ranger. Guests can refresh in the cool swimming pool with a view of the Pilanesberg Mountains and unwind in the intimate 6-seater Jacuzzi.

The lodge has a 4 Suite Lodge and an exclusive Executive Suite. The 4 Suite Lodge can accommodate a maximum of 8 adults and 2 young children. It consists of 3 double suites and 1 Family Suite. The double suites sleep two people (double or twin), and the family suite sleeps 2 people (double or twin) downstairs, and 2 children (twin) in the open loft. All the suites are spacious and fully air-conditioned.

The Executive Suite can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults in a Queen bed, with a sleeper couch for a young child to share. Each suite has an ample en-suite bathroom with modern finishes (with bath and shower), a comfy seating area, and a private patio. There is a mini bar in each room, but it is not stocked as this is a self-catering lodge only. Tea and coffee facilities are available in each suite.

The main entertainment area is open plan, with a lounge featuring a TV, DSTV, and DVD player, a beautiful bar area with a pool table and various board games, and an outside patio area that seats up to ten people. The lodge has covered parking for eight vehicles.

Buffalo regularly roam in the area, taking shelter in remote areas not accessible to other visitors to the Pilanesberg National Park. The Black Rhino Reserve is home to the Big 5 (Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Elephant, and White & Black Rhino), as well as cheetah and wild dog. Antelope species include Sable, Tsessebe, Eland, Gemsbok, and Springbok. With a species list of over 354, the Black Rhino Reserve is also a true "birder's paradise".

Included in the daily rate is one game drive per night booked. Additional game drives are available at an extra cost. Conservation levies are charged extra. The lodge is equipped with its own top-of-the-range 10-seater open private game driving vehicles with private game rangers for a true African safari experience. The Jacuzzi is private and screened off.

Both the 4 Suite and 5 Suite Lodges have a Family room with a king-sized bed for parents and an upstairs loft with 2 single beds for children to share with their parents in the room. The Luxury Executive suite features a full en-suite bathroom with an oval stone bath, modern finishes, a large double inside shower, and a private courtyard with an outside shower, own boma, and living area, away from the other suites.
