Motswari Private Game Reserve

Motswari Private Game Reserve is a traditional safari camp located deep in the Timbavati, within the heart of the Kruger National Park. It has been in operation for 30 years and prides itself on providing guests with a sophisticated yet unobtrusive experience of communing with nature. The reserve's open boundary with Kruger National Park ensures rich game viewing and sightings of the Big 5 in their natural habitat.

Motswari is family-owned and emphasizes conservation values, exquisite cuisine, award-winning wines, luxurious accommodation, and hospitality in the tradition of one of South Africa's original lodges. It offers 15 thatched, en-suite bungalows decorated with natural materials, featuring air conditioning, mosquito nets, and spectacular bush and river views.

Guests can participate in morning and evening game drives in open Land Rovers with professional field guides and Shangaan trackers, as well as morning bush walks and overnight walking safaris with experienced guides. The reserve covers an area of approximately 150 square kilometers, providing a vast and untamed wilderness experience. Rates include all meals, local beers, house wines, soft drinks, two daily game drives, and guided safari walks with refreshments.
