Motswiri Private Safari Lodge is situated in the western side of the 75,000-hectare, Big Five, malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve in the North West Province. It forms an integral part of The Madikwe Collection's exclusive portfolio of lodges. The lodge offers an exclusive and personal bush experience that is difficult to replicate in larger establishments.

The lodge features some of the best views in Madikwe, as well as a tranquil atmosphere provided by the mature Leadwood trees under which the main building and five luxury bush villas are located. Each bush villa offers stunning views from private decks and multiple-slider bedrooms and bathrooms, along with double-sided fireplaces, air-conditioning/ceiling fans, stunning bathrooms, and an outdoor shower, providing a luxurious bush experience. Additionally, the Family Villa offers three rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, a private lounge area leading out onto a private deck and pool.

At the main area of the lodge, guests can enjoy the rim-flow pool overlooking the waterhole, have a cocktail under the shade of the Motswiri (Leadwood) trees on the main deck, or relax in the outside lounge and bar area. Fine cuisine is served in the dining room, under the Leadwood trees, or around a roaring fire in the boma.

Motswiri Private Safari Lodge offers the option of individual bookings or exclusive use of the lodge for groups. It is ideal for corporate, family, or friend groups of up to ten people who do not wish to share the facilities with other guests. The lodge is a mere three and a half hours' drive from Johannesburg, or guests can opt for a fly-in safari to the reserve's all-weather airstrip, with scheduled daily charters available via the Federal Air Madikwe Charter Joint Venture Partnership.

Lodge tariffs include luxury accommodation, two fabulous game drives per day, and all meals. Aromatherapy massages are available and must be pre-booked. Charges for these services can be paid at the lodge or pre-paid before arrival. Twice-daily game drives are conducted by rangers with superb bush knowledge, imparted in a manner suited to the guests' bush knowledge, on specially designed land cruiser game viewing vehicles.
