Mount Ceder Lodge is located in the Cederberg Mountains, situated in a valley surrounded by rugged and dramatic mountain landscapes. It is situated on the main route through the Cederberg range. The lodge offers accommodation options including 12 fully equipped self-catering houses that can accommodate between two to six people, as well as three campsites.

The self-catering houses are fully equipped with linen, towels, cutlery, crockery, a fridge, stove, microwave, and feature a fireplace inside and a braai/BBQ area outside. Firewood is available for purchase, and a cleaning service can be requested. The Old Mill House Restaurant provides meals such as hearty dinners, breakfasts, and light lunches for those who do not wish to cook. There is also a Curio shop selling local products like extra virgin olive oil and kalamata olives.

Mount Ceder Lodge offers various activities for visitors, including hiking, river swimming, canoeing, mountain biking, and exploring local rock art. The Cederberg region is approximately three hours' drive from Cape Town and features a distinct landscape from the city, characterized by dramatic sandstone rock formations and shale bands containing fossil discoveries. The region is also known for cultivating the world-famous rooibos tea, which can be experienced through visits to local rooibos farms.

One of the accommodation options, Blinkberg house, is located on the slopes of Tuinskloof ridge and offers a view of the Klipbokkop mountain range. It features an en-suite double bedroom, an en-suite twin bedroom, and a loft room, along with an indoor fireplace and an outdoor braai area.
