Mount Grey Eco Cabins is nestled in the Klein Swartberg conservation area, positioned between Caledon and Greyton, approximately 90 minutes' drive from Cape Town, South Africa. The property features three distinct luxury cabins: Protea, Sewejaartjie, and the newly constructed Pincushion Eco Cabin.
Each cabin is thoughtfully constructed using heat-treated pine and balau wood, featuring sophisticated interior finishes. The accommodations are designed for two guests, comprising one bedroom and one bathroom. Standard amenities across all cabins include a wood-fired hot tub on the deck, perfect for enjoying sundowners with scenic views, and an open-field bath for evening relaxation. Each unit also features a luxury boma, designed for traditional African braai (barbecue) experiences.
While the location offers good mobile reception, the cabins intentionally exclude Wi-Fi and television facilities, encouraging guests to disconnect and embrace the natural surroundings. Visitors can explore the property through hiking or utilize the extensive mountain bike trails available. The nearby town of Greyton offers additional activities, including a popular Saturday morning market.
The property maintains an adults-only policy, with no children or pets permitted. Due to the outdoor cooking facilities, guests are advised to exercise caution during windy conditions and properly extinguish cooking fires after use.
