Mount Hope Private Game Reserve

Mount Hope Private Game Reserve is located in the magnificent Waterberg Mountain Range of Limpopo Province, approximately a two-hour drive from Pretoria. The reserve is abundant with various game species and features a river running through the property. It offers luxurious, self-catered accommodation for up to 22 people and provides activities such as game drives.

The Waterberg District is considered an ideal getaway destination where travelers can relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the bushveld savannah and its rich wildlife heritage. The Waterberg Mountains stretch along more than 5,000 kilometers, offering spectacular vistas and scenic valleys, making it an ideal destination off the beaten tourism track.

The Waterberg region is steeped in history, with some artifacts found in the area dating back to the Stone Age. The area is a mosaic of culture and tradition, reflected by the different rural tribes such as the Bapedi, Tswana, and Basotho, while the Voortrekkers also left their distinctive mark on the region.

The reserve provides accommodation in the form of chalets with double beds and en-suite bathrooms.
