Mount Ingwe Lodge

Mount Ingwe Lodge is located near the Baviaanskloof World Heritage site and situated on the Middelwater farm in the Elandsriver Valley, surrounded by the Winterberg Mountains. It offers accommodation in an indigenous wilderness area, where abundant game species and birds roam freely across the mountain tops and valleys. The location also features well-preserved Bushman paintings, providing historical insight into the region's past.

The lodge is situated 120 kilometers from Port Elizabeth and 35 kilometers from Patensie, a small town in the Eastern Cape province. It is also conveniently located for visitors from Jeffreys Bay and the Tsitsikamma National Park. The accommodations offer luxurious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, designed to integrate with the natural surroundings.

Mount Ingwe Lodge provides two types of self-catering accommodation: the Country House and the Ingwe Chalet. The Country House features four cozy bedrooms, while the Ingwe Chalet offers an intimate and relaxing retreat for couples. Both accommodation options include bed linen, towels, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with toilet and shower, fan, heater, hairdryer, and a braai facility.

Guests can enjoy various activities such as quad bike rides through the farm and neighboring farms, picnics, or braai arrangements. The lodge also offers opportunities to observe wildlife such as ribokke, kudu, bosbokke, and Fish eagles from the comfort of the accommodation. A jungle gym is available for children to play on.
