Mount Joy Cottages

Mount Joy Cottages is situated in Knysna, which is a natural paradise of lush, indigenous forests, tranquil lakes and golden beaches. It offers two cottages: the Main Cottage, which can accommodate a maximum of four guests, and the Studio Cottage, which can accommodate a maximum of three guests.

The Main Cottage is extremely spacious and has been luxuriously finished and furnished. It features a king-size bed, a sleeper couch in the living room, and a bathroom. The cottage has a tasteful open-plan, yellow wood kitchen and is equipped with a microwave, TV, and DVD player.

The Studio Cottage has a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a single sleeper couch, and a bathroom with a bath and shower. It is extremely cozy and comes with a small but adequately equipped kitchen and living area.

The cottages overlook the beautiful Knysna Lagoon and are perched high on a hill, in a large and magical garden surrounded by forest. They are not typical holiday cottages and have been lovingly constructed and furnished to provide a homely atmosphere. There are barbecue facilities for guests to enjoy.

Mount Joy Cottages aims to provide an atmosphere of beauty, privacy, mystique, and convenience, with safety as an essential priority. The cottages are a short 10-minute walk from the center of town, yet entirely removed from the noisy hustle and bustle.

For ultimate relaxation and well-being, guests can treat themselves to sessions with a European-trained therapist who provides aromatherapy, reflexology, meditation sessions, and Swedish massage by prior appointment in her studio on the premises.
