Mount Park Guest Farm is situated in the beautiful upper Dargle region of KwaZulu Natal Midlands at the foot of the Inhlosane Mountain. It is a 344-hectare working beef farm consisting of a diverse combination of grasslands, pastures, over 40 hectares of indigenous forest, wetlands, and mountain, providing habitats for a large variety of bird species. One of the forest inhabitants is the rare Tree Hyrax, and visitors may be lucky to hear its distinctive call at night.

Mount Park Guest Farm offers self-catering accommodation in a century-old farmhouse, Yellowwood Cottage, Rose Cottage, two cabins, and camping sites. Simple catering is offered in the Bull & Speir restaurant upon request. The accommodation is situated in a large old garden, intersected with small streams and a large old oak tree, ideal for relaxing on a sunny day. The garden features a small dam stocked with trout, where kids can fish and swim, and adults are welcome to cast a line.

For the more active visitors, there are several walks through the forests, up the mountain, down to the wetland, or a short stroll to the historic graveyard in a grove of yellowwood trees. The description states that an apt way to describe Mount Park is an 'Olde Worlde' delight. The accommodation includes a safari tent with two single beds (linen and towels provided), table and chairs, garden furniture, LED lights, coffee or tea facilities with a plug point, and an allocated kitchenette in the communal area. The safari tent is close to clean ablution facilities.
