Mountain View Lodge Montagu

Mountain View Lodge is a lodging establishment situated just below the infamous Kanonkop hill and above the town center of Montagu. The lodge offers total privacy and relaxation in a secure, 24-hour monitored location, while still within walking distance of Montagu's town center. It is almost completely concealed from the street, contributing to its sense of seclusion.

The lodge features seven en-suite rooms, each equipped with a king-size bed, a mini safe, a ceiling vent, and a hairdryer available for female guests. Two of the rooms can be converted into a four-person family room. The heated swimming pool and top deck of the lodge overlook the valley, offering guests stunning mountain views.

Mountain View Lodge's on-site Belgian Restaurant serves traditional South African and Belgian dishes. The bar features a wide variety of Belgian, imported, and local beers, as well as a carefully curated selection of local wines.

The town of Montagu is renowned for its remarkable scenery and intriguing history. The surrounding areas offer a range of activities, including mountain biking, kloofing, abseiling, paragliding, fishing, and river boat trips along the Breede River. For a more leisurely experience, guests can explore the local wine farms and experience the wine route in the lodge's chauffeur-driven Rolls Royce Silver Shadow.
