The Msunduze River Lodge is an oasis situated beneath the majestic Lebombo Mountains, on the banks of the dry and picturesque Msunduze River. It offers a remarkable experience designed to captivate the senses and make one's stay unforgettable. The lodge features five luxurious private en-suite chalets strategically positioned amidst tall fever trees, surrounded by a symphony of over 400 species of birds. The chalets often play host to graceful Kudu, elegant nyala, playful impala, and mischievous warthogs, blending nature's beauty with luxurious accommodations.

The expansive lounge and bar area offer a breathtaking view of the river, where occasional sightings of magnificent elephants and regal lions from the renowned Manyoni Private Game Reserve create a stunning natural spectacle. Exquisite barbecue dinners are served under the African night sky in the enchanting boma, while sumptuous breakfasts are offered in the open lodge, overlooking the tranquil riverbed.

The lodge offers a variety of activities, including bird-watching, MTB bike paths, and captivating nature walks. Guests can also book Big-5 game drives at the Manyoni Private Game Reserve for an immersive African safari experience. Additionally, the lodge features a Holistic Treatment Center run by a qualified Reiki Master, offering Reiki healing, Sound Therapy, Kahuna and Indian Head Massage, and other treatment modalities.

The rooms are luxurious, featuring air-conditioning, fans, reading lights on the bed, a desk, a vanity, and a luggage rack. The rooms contain a king-size bed that can be split into two three-quarter beds upon request and an en-suite bathroom with a gas-heated shower. The lodge caters to special occasions and offers MTB trails and walks through the pristine bush, with limited bike hire available. No quads are allowed.
