The lodge, personally run by owners Rose and Mike, features five luxurious private en-suite chalets nestled among fever trees, where guests can observe over 400 bird species and regular wildlife visitors including kudu, nyala, impala, and warthogs.
The property boasts an expansive lounge and bar area overlooking the river, providing opportunities to spot elephants and lions from the adjacent Manyoni Private Game Reserve. Dining experiences include barbecue dinners under the stars in the boma and breakfasts served in the open lodge with views of the riverbed.
Each air-conditioned chalet is equipped with modern amenities including fans, reading lights, a desk, vanity, and luggage rack. The rooms feature king-size beds that can be converted to twin beds, and en-suite bathrooms with gas-heated showers. Private patios offer views of the riverbed and surrounding bush.
The lodge offers various activities including bird-watching, MTB bike trails with limited bike hire available, and nature walks. Guests can arrange Big-5 game drives at the Manyoni Private Game Reserve. A unique feature is the on-site Holistic Treatment Center, staffed by a qualified Reiki Master, offering various therapeutic services including Reiki healing, Sound Therapy, and Kahuna and Indian Head Massage.
Conveniently located close to the N2 between Hluhluwe and Mkuze, the lodge provides a secure environment while maintaining its connection to the surrounding wilderness.
