Mzimayi River Lodge

The Mzimayi River Lodge is situated along the banks of the Mzimayi River. It comprises five Double Rooms and four Family Rooms. The sub-tropical climate is pleasant throughout the year.

All the rooms are equipped with either double or single beds, as well as tea and coffee-making facilities. Fans and air-conditioners are provided to ensure the comfort of guests, and each room has a safe for valuables.

The lodge features a large deck area with a swimming pool and a fully licensed pub that serves small meals. It also has a wonderful a la carte restaurant with great sea views, which is open to the public. The restaurant operates from Tuesday to Saturday, from 08h00 to 20h00, and on Sundays, a delicious plated lunch is served instead of the a la carte menu, from 08h00 to 15h00.

For corporate functions, the lodge offers a conference room with the option of a whiteboard and a data projector. Group bookings for the entire lodge can be arranged, with custom menus available for these occasions. Rates for these functions are available upon request.

The lodge is located 800 meters from Hibberdene's main beach, which is an excellent location for scuba diving. The untouched reefs are home to many rare species, such as the long nose hawkfish, soft coral sponges, and fern corals. The Hibberdene Lagoon is suitable for picnics in the sun or paddling in the waters. The lodge also offers a wedding venue that can accommodate up to 50 guests.

Each room has a double bed, a bathroom with a shower, and nice sea views.
