Nambiti Plains Private Game Lodge is an exclusive game lodge located in the Malaria Free Nambiti Game Reserve in KwaZulu Natal. It is situated in a diverse landscape that includes vast savannas, thornveld, lush grasslands, natural water features, and cascades of the Sundays River, creating a unique sanctuary for wildlife.

The lodge offers thrilling open-vehicle safari game drives, where visitors can witness the majestic Big Five and over thirty other species, including cheetahs and hippos. Additionally, pre-arranged Battlefield tours are available to complement the safari experience. The lodge features a breathtaking view of the waterhole and plains, providing guests with an ideal vantage point to observe wildlife in their natural habitat.

The contemporary and simplistic decor of the lodge is infused with earthy colors, reflecting the essence of the African bush. Guests can relax in cozy lounges with glass sliding doors, overhead fans, and screeded floors to keep them cool in summer, or warm themselves by the crackling fireplaces in the lounge and dining areas during winter. These areas feature beautifully crafted packed stone.

The lodge offers seven luxurious and secluded suites, meticulously appointed with panoramic views from private decks. Each suite is equipped with freestanding tubs, indoor or outdoor showers, canopy mosquito nets, overhead fans, tea/coffee stations, safes, and mini bars. Inter-leading suites are available for families, offering two separate and private rooms connected by a solid, packed stone wall.

Hearty breakfasts follow early morning game drives, while light lunches or high teas are served depending on the season. Guests can indulge in fabulous three-course dinners after evening game drives. Meals are served outdoors, in the dining room, or under the star-studded African skies in the outdoor boma, lit by a blazing central fire-pit.
