Nature's Loft

Nature's Loft is a luxury accommodation establishment situated on an old sandstone mine in the Eastern Free State, just outside the historical town of Fouriesburg. It provides easy access to Afriski, Clarens, and Golden Gate. The property features three stand-alone luxury, cozy European-style log cabins with double glazing and fireplaces, as well as one luxury tent with an indoor bath and an outdoor shower heated by an old-fashioned donkey for hot water. Each unit accommodates two people.

Nature's Loft offers a rock boma with a cozy fire pit for stargazing evenings and a dam where guests can try their hand at bass fishing. The property is located 30 km from the town of Clarens, 48 km from Golden Gate Highlands National Park, and 10 km from the Caledonspoort Border post into Lesotho.

Guests can wake up to the sound of birds, hike on the plot, choose from various walks in the area, engage in mountain biking, scrambling, or motorcycling on the many trails from their front door, or bring their fishing rods for fishing. One of the accommodation options, Blue Heron, is a European-style wooden cabin with double glazing, a fireplace, a king bed (or two single beds), cotton linen, and supplied towels. It is a 100% off-grid facility powered by solar energy and borehole water, and features a kitchenette with a patio and gas braai.
