Natures Haven Lodge - Bluff Eco Park

Natures Haven Lodge is nestled within the Bluff Eco Park in Durban, situated 14 kilometers from the city center. The establishment offers diverse self-catering accommodation options, including Economy cabins and an Eco Dormitory that can house between 24 and 32 guests. The property also features a spacious campsite that welcomes personal tents, caravans, motor homes, and over-landers, with a total capacity of 300 people.

The facility demonstrates a strong commitment to environmental sustainability, implementing green technologies such as heat pumps for water heating and water-efficient shower heads that reduce consumption from 25 to 12 liters per minute. The park boasts rich biodiversity, being home to over 75 bird species, banded mongoose, monkeys, and occasional grey duiker sightings. Guests can enjoy amenities including a swimming pool and peaceful walking trails through the natural surroundings.

The Eco Park serves as a versatile event venue, capable of hosting intimate gatherings of 50 people up to large festivals exceeding 250 attendees. Family-friendly facilities include jungle gyms, swings, a children's pool, and a tour train that circles the park. The recently upgraded campsite provides modern ablutions and washrooms, with sites available either beneath the sub-tropical dune forest canopy or on open grasslands. Additional amenities include an entertainment area with a pool table, dart board, DSTV, and board games, as well as a coffee shop, health spa, conference facilities, and a garden chapel for weddings. Most camping sites share electricity and water points.
