Nature's Loft

Nature's Loft is a luxury accommodation establishment located on a former sandstone mine in the Eastern Free State, South Africa, just outside Fouriesburg. The property offers convenient access to Afriski, Clarens (30 km away), Golden Gate Highlands National Park (48 km away), and the Caledonspoort Border post to Lesotho (10 km away).

The accommodation consists of three standalone European-style log cabins and one luxury tent, each designed for two guests. The log cabins feature double glazing, fireplaces, private entrances, en-suite bathrooms, and kitchenettes with gas braai facilities. The Sunflower Loft cabin notably includes an outdoor woodburning hot tub. One of the cabins, Blue Heron, operates completely off-grid using solar power and borehole water, offering a king bed or two single beds with cotton linen. The luxury tent is equipped with a flushing toilet, indoor bath, and an outdoor shower heated by a traditional donkey boiler system, along with its own kitchenette and gas braai.

The property boasts various amenities and activities, including a rock boma with a fire pit for stargazing, a dam for bass fishing, and numerous hiking and mountain biking trails accessible directly from the accommodation. Guests can enjoy bird watching from their patios, explore the surrounding area through various walks, or engage in scrambling and motorcycling activities. The cabins are designed to blend seamlessly with the natural environment while providing modern comforts, allowing visitors to experience the pristine surroundings and spectacular night skies in comfort.
