Nogatsaa Pans Chobe Lodge

Nogatsaa Pans Chobe Lodge is an eco-certified establishment situated in a secluded corner of Chobe National Park, Botswana. The lodge overlooks the Kwikamba Pan, the largest of several clay-bottom pans in the region, offering exceptional game viewing opportunities directly from the property.

The accommodation comprises 12 classically elegant tented rooms set on raised platforms, including 10 twin/super king luxury tents and two family units. Each tent features a private viewing deck, en-suite bathroom with double vanity and outdoor shower, and is appointed with high-quality furnishings including lime-washed wooden floors. Modern amenities include eco-friendly toiletries, luxury linens, fans, and personal safes.

The main lodge area encompasses an open dining space, bar, and multiple seating areas. Facilities include a swimming pool, viewing deck for stargazing, and a boma for campfire gatherings. The property operates on solar power, demonstrating its commitment to environmental sustainability. A curio shop, laundry service, and designated WiFi area are available to guests. While there is no regular telephone service, the lodge maintains satellite phone and radio communications for emergencies.

Activities offered include morning and afternoon game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, birdwatching, stargazing, sundowner drives, and in-room spa treatments. The lodge is accessible via 4x4 vehicle transfer from Kasane (approximately 2 hours), small aircraft flights, or helicopter transfer.

The property welcomes children aged 6 and above and operates year-round, with distinct wet summer and dry winter seasons. The area experiences malaria risk, particularly during the rainy season from January to May, and appropriate precautions are recommended.
