Normann Safari Bush Lodge

Normann Safari Bush Lodge is situated in the lovely bush, only 1.5 km from the Kruger National Park, and a 10-minute drive from the town of Phalaborwa. The town of Phalaborwa offers malls, restaurants, banks, a post office, hospital, airport, and many other amenities. The beautiful golf course at Hans Merensky Estate is a mere 10-minute drive away.

Normann Safari Bush Lodge is a small Danish-owned bush hotel with six twin rooms, all equipped with air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms. Some rooms are situated in chalets with thatched roofs, while others are located in the main farmhouse with iron roofs. The lodge also features a furnished family unit with a thatched roof that comprises two separate rooms sharing a bathroom. The lodge caters to everyone, including disabled guests, as it is built with ramps, walking paths, and most rooms are without steps to the doors.

Surrounding the rooms, there is a swimming pool, a boma with a bar, and a small garden. At the front, one can find a reception area where internet access is available, as well as a recreation area and secure parking. With only six twin rooms, Normann Safari Bush Lodge is a small, exclusive bush hotel that aims to provide a family-oriented yet tranquil atmosphere while offering optimized service and experience for its guests.

A highlight of the experience is being able to enjoy the bush right on the doorstep, where a variety of birds, impalas, and warthogs can be seen visiting the waterhole situated just beyond the garden. Guests staying in the Zebra House (self-catering) can enjoy a dip in the heated jacuzzi. Although the lodge is located in the bush and only 1.5 km from the Kruger National Park, it does not have Big 5 animals on the premises, making it safe to enjoy bush walks on the premises, where small game can be a delightful sight.

The swimming pool at Normann Safari Bush Lodge has varying depths ranging from 90 cm to 1.8 m. Free WiFi is available on the premises. The thatched-roofed chalet accommodations feature twin beds, a bathroom with a shower, air conditioning, mosquito nets, an honesty bar (minibar), a safe, and a bathroom with a shower. Rooms are suitable for disabled guests.
