Nukakamma River Lodge

Nukakamma River Lodge and Guest House are two distinctive properties located in Colchester, Eastern Cape, South Africa, situated just 3km from the renowned Addo Elephant Park. The River Lodge is positioned on the banks of the Sundays River, offering guests a unique combination of bush and beach experiences.

The River Lodge features four en-suite bed and breakfast rooms and two self-catering cottages. The main guest house showcases African-inspired decor with custom handmade wooden furniture and curios collected from across the continent. All rooms are furnished with high-quality cotton linen and include amenities such as complimentary tea and coffee. The bed and breakfast rooms feature king or queen-size beds, en-suite bathrooms with showers, and some rooms include private patios and lounge areas. Traditional South African dinners are available upon request.

The self-catering cottages are equipped with full kitchen facilities, open-plan living areas, and private bathrooms. One cottage includes private BBQ facilities, while the other has access to BBQ facilities at the main house. Both properties are secured with alarm systems connected to armed response services.

Nukakamma Guest House has embraced environmental sustainability by implementing solar power generation. The property features energy-efficient amenities including LED lighting, solar geysers, and gas hobs, providing guests with an eco-friendly accommodation experience while maintaining comfort.

The establishment offers guests stunning views of the Addo Elephant Park from its viewing deck, and includes an on-site curio shop. Its location near the Mathyolweni Gate provides convenient access to the southern entrance of the Addo Elephant Park.
