Nyala Safari Lodge is a part of the Greater Kruger National Park, situated in the Balule Private Reserve, Mohlabetsi Conservancy in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. The lodge offers self-catering accommodation and includes two game drives per day with an accredited and fully qualified ranger. It is located on the banks of the Mohlabetsi River, which means sweet waters.

The lodge comprises five large thatched rondavels that accommodate single groups from 2 to 14 guests in total. The rondavels are graciously decorated, each with an en-suite bathroom. There is a modern central kitchen, fully equipped for self-catering, and an indoor dining area. A small swimming pool is surrounded by a green lawn and shady trees. The fully serviced self-catering lodge provides an extraordinary adventure for nature lovers, with a tastefully decorated lounge area outside under the thatch, overlooking the seasonal river bed and water-hole. An elevated wooden deck provides restful game viewing in the shade of a large Weeping Boer-Bean overlooking the river bed and water-hole. Dining takes place in the "Boma" where the peaceful outdoors assist in relaxing the soul.

The experience at Nyala Safari Lodge is designed to create lasting memories. It is ideal for small groups of family and friends, with the option of exclusive use of the lodge. Overhead fans gently circulate the pure African air in the rooms, and generous bath sheets are provided in the en-suite bathrooms, along with towels for swimming. Nyala Safari Lodge in the Balule reserve is a place where time stops and life begins.

The Balule reserve is located on the western boundary of the Klaserie Game Reserve, which is also part of the Kruger National Park. The Mohlabetsi conservancy in the Balule reserve has two non-perennial rivers meandering through the area, attracting a diversity of wildlife and birds. White Rhino, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard, Cheetah, and other African animals can be discovered on open safari vehicles. The riverine habitat, open grasslands, mixed woodland, and many vantage points and game hides ensure the opportunity of seeing a diversity of bird and wildlife.

The accredited and fully-qualified rangers ensure that guests receive excellent, informative, and highly entertaining game drives, covering all aspects of the Fauna and Flora found in the Reserve. Conservation and the environment are top priorities, and efforts are made to stimulate and educate guests in this regard. The lodge has hosted small intimate weddings, with arrangements made for necessary documentation, a pastor, and low-scale catering using outside suppliers. Wedding ceremonies can take place in the river bed, lodge lapa, or on the viewing deck. Spa treatments are available through a traveling spa that can provide services in the comfort of guest rooms.

Guests can experience living in the bush, tracking animals on foot and following them during game drives. Walking safaris are offered in place of one safari activity, and overnight walking safaris are also available. The lodge provides a safe environment with large lawns, board games, and children are welcome to bring their own toys. Children aged 2 to 12 years are welcome to join game drives at the ranger's discretion.
