Oakdene Guest House

Oakdene Guest House, one of Oudtshoorn's oldest and most distinguished properties, was built in 1853 and declared a National Monument in 1988. This Victorian-era establishment is situated on the main tourist route, sheltered by oak trees, and stands as a fine example of architecture from Oudtshoorn's early days.

The guest house is centrally located within walking distance of the town center and renowned restaurants, making it an ideal base for exploring local cuisine, including ostrich steaks and regional wines. The property features six spacious en-suite bedrooms, each equipped with modern amenities including remote-controlled air conditioning, satellite flat-panel TV, WiFi, hairdryers, coffee/tea facilities, in-room safes, and electric blankets for winter comfort.
