Ocean Grove Guest House

Ocean Grove Guest House is an elegant establishment situated on a large estate with beautiful gardens and stunning sea views that offer opportunities for amazing whale and dolphin sightings. It is located on the Southern KwaZulu-Natal Birding Route, where an abundance of birdlife can be enjoyed on the property as well as at the nearby Mpenjati, Umtamvuna, and Oribi Gorge Nature Reserves.

The guest house features its own pool and is a short walk from the beach. It is situated near six top golf courses, five minutes from San Lameer, and 10 minutes in either direction from Southbroom or the Wild Coast Sun and Casino, making it an ideal location for golfing holidays.

With its idyllic setting and luxurious rooms, Ocean Grove Guest House is an ideal venue for romantic getaways or honeymoons. The five deluxe double rooms contain full en-suite bathrooms with separate baths and showers, and can be fitted with either a king-size bed or twin beds. The Starfish, Dolphin, and Pearl rooms feature sliding doors leading onto a patio overlooking the sea, while Hibiscus and Orchid feature beautiful garden views and private access from the garden. All rooms are equipped with a TV, personal safe, tea and coffee-making facilities, and a mini-fridge.

Ocean Grove Guest House offers the best breakfast on the South Coast, with a choice of full English or continental, served in the dining room overlooking the sea. From June to November, guests may be treated to stunning views of whales and dolphins in the ocean below. Dinner can be enjoyed at restaurants in the area or at Ocean Grove, where it is catered for by arrangement.

The guest house caters for intimate weddings and receptions of up to 45 guests, with beautiful gardens and spectacular sea views available for photos. Arrangements can be made by the guests or through Ocean Grove, including beach set-ups, marriage officers, and photographers. Each room can be a romantic honeymoon venue, catering to different budgets. The Pearl room is the best honeymoon room, featuring a patio, gorgeous view, and a Jacuzzi bath. Honeymooners are welcomed with fresh flowers, scented candles, and a bottle of sparkling wine.

Ocean Grove Guest House is located within easy walking distance from the beach and offers en-suite rooms with either a king-size bed or twin beds, as well as access onto the patio with sea views through sliding doors. Please note that children under the age of 12 are not allowed.
