Ocean Vista Boutique Guest House is a contemporary yet warm establishment designed to make the most of the amazing ocean views. It caters to discerning travelers, offering an upmarket location, seven beautifully equipped ocean view bedrooms, a delicious breakfast with a view, personalized service, a pool, and a serene, elegant environment where guests can unwind at the end of a busy day while listening to the ocean and watching ships on the horizon.

The spotlessly clean and stylish double rooms are located on two levels, each facing the ocean and well-considered. Attention to detail, a generous array of amenities, and thoughtful touches and extras are provided for the comfort of all guests. A troop of Vervet monkeys living in the area sometimes visits, entertaining guests at breakfast or just chilling on room balconies. The neighborhood is safe and beautiful for runners and walkers to explore, and the property promises a spectacular sunrise sight above the ocean.

Guests can enjoy lunch or dinner at many very good restaurants within a short drive from the guest house, and the staff is always happy to guide them on where to dine, shop, and explore. The guest house regrets that it does not accommodate children under 12, offer family rooms, or be wheelchair-friendly. While it does not currently offer spa services, it can arrange for a massage on the premises as part of a special stay.

Ocean Vista Boutique Guest House provides an intimate and very beautiful setting, and it gladly meets requests for romantic touches for guests celebrating special occasions. With four golf courses within 12km, including Durban Country Club, Beachwood Golf Course, Royal Durban Golf Club, and Mount Edgecombe Golf Club (Course One and Two), the guest house is well-located as a base for golfers visiting Durban.

While located just 1km from the La Lucia beach, it is not a swimming beach. For the best beach experience and additional facilities, the Umhlanga Rocks beaches, 2-3km away, are recommended. The guest house offers a spacious room tucked away on the lower level with partial ocean views from the room but great views from the bathroom and a private 25mu00b2 patio to enjoy sunrises and balmy evenings overlooking the pool and the ocean beyond. This room also offers a private entrance.
