Old Mac Daddy

The Airstream Trailer Park concept was originally inspired by a natural rural setting. The Daddy Long Legs Group discovered a picturesque location on a private farm in the apple-growing Elgin Valley and promptly began developing it. The Old Mac Daddy Park aims to recreate the nostalgic camping experience of childhood with added luxurious touches, designer trailer suites, pine-covered slopes, lakes, numerous nature-inspired activities, and wholesome farm-grown food. It is situated just a 40-minute drive from Cape Town's central business district.

The park comprises ten trailer suites, each with a separate lounge, viewing deck, and en-suite bathroom. Each unit accommodates two adults in the trailer, while the lounge serves as a children's room. Additionally, there are two Airstream trailers overlooking the bottom dam, designed for two adults each. Although smaller, these trailers are en-suite and provide a serene retreat for romantic couples or those seeking contemplation. Daddy's Villa, a three-bedroom forest cabin, caters to larger families and wedding parties.

Old Mac Daddy features a communal area where guests can enjoy healthy, wholesome meals and treats throughout the day. All ingredients used in the food are locally sourced, organic, and free-range wherever possible. The park offers a child-friendly environment with an indoor-outdoor play area, daily activities, and a complimentary kids' menu for children under eight years old. A fenced swimming pool provides relief from the heat while keeping unsupervised children out.

The Old Mac Daddy serves as an ideal venue for conferences, meetings, gatherings, celebrations, and weddings. It can be rented entirely or partially for functions or meetings. A boardroom and conference area are located on the property, and wireless broadband is available for those needing to work. Bookings were made effective from July 15, 2010.
