Olifants River Lodge & Safaris

Olifants River Lodge & Safaris is located within the highly acclaimed Timbavati Private Nature Reserve. It offers meanders along the waters of the magnificent Olifants River, where guests can observe crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, elephants, waterbucks, and a wide variety of other game on the lush green banks of the river. The lodge provides unforgettable safari experiences along one of the largest rivers in the Kruger National Park, allowing guests to wine and dine while enjoying the abundant wildlife, birds, indigenous trees, bush, and grasslands associated with the African bushveld.

The lodging facilities consist of chalets with en-suite bathrooms, accommodating up to 40 persons, and feature a kitchen, bar, barbecue boma, and swimming pool. The Greater Kruger Park Game Reserve, one of the largest private game reserves, borders the opposite side of the river, where guests can regularly spot buffaloes, elephants, lions, waterbucks, kudus, and impalas from the lodge. Guests can also listen to the roar of lions at night. One of the entrance gates to the Kruger National Park is located in Phalaborwa.

Olifants River Lodge & Safaris offers a range of activities, including bush braais, bush walks, open vehicle safaris, and boat trips on the Olifants River.
