Onguma Safari Camps is an exclusive wilderness destination situated on the eastern border of Etosha National Park in Namibia. The reserve encompasses 34,000 hectares of private wilderness and offers diverse accommodation options including five lodges and two campsites.

The Tamboti Campsite, one of their camping facilities, features 25 individual stands, each equipped with dedicated ablution and cooking facilities. Some sites are designed with shared facilities to accommodate group travelers. The campsite is centered around a main complex that includes a reception area, supply store, and an à la carte restaurant. A notable feature is the waterhole visible from the main areas, providing continuous wildlife viewing opportunities.

The location offers visitors the perfect base to explore Etosha National Park, which was established in 1907 and is home to four of the Big 5. During evenings, guests can experience the authentic African wilderness, with opportunities to observe various wildlife including elephants, rhinos, lions, and plains game that freely roam the reserve.

A Conservation Levy is mandatory for all campers, with proceeds supporting the protection of rhinos and other wildlife within the Onguma Nature Reserve. The camp maintains a maximum capacity of six guests per site and emphasizes both privacy for individual travelers and accommodation for small groups of two to three tents.
