Onse Rus Guest House is a hospitality establishment located in Prins Albert, situated at the foot of the majestic Swartberg Mountain Range in the Great Karoo region. The guest accommodation and facilities are separate from the owners' residence, offering guests a level of privacy not typically associated with a guest house. The guest house comprises five air-conditioned guest rooms, each with its own unique character and en-suite bathroom. The comfortable beds are outfitted with crisp percale linen, ensuring a sound sleep after breathing in the fresh country air.

Breakfast is served in the garden under the trees during summer, weather permitting, or in the main guest lounge with a fireplace during winter. The generous Onse Rus farmhouse breakfast is a real treat, featuring homemade muesli, fresh farm dairy products, fruit juice, bacon and eggs, and homemade preserves. The guest house is fully licensed and can cater to large tour groups. Dinner is served upon request with a minimum of four guests booking, offering options such as a simple omelet or a three-course Karoo dinner. Alternatively, nearby excellent restaurants within walking distance can be recommended.

In summer, guests can choose to sit in the gazebo next to the swimming pool, while in winter, the guest lounge with a fireplace doubles as an art gallery. The inviting sparkling pool provides a sanctuary on hot summer days, and the shady garden has braai facilities and a bar. The dining room features a large ceramic fireplace for winter, and the guest lounge library offers books to suit every taste. One of the rooms has a thatched roof, a king-size or twin beds, an en-suite shower, an open-plan lounge area, tea and coffee facilities, a bar fridge, air conditioning, wall heaters, and a private entrance with French doors opening onto the garden. A single bed can be added for a child.
