Orania Réhobot Self-Help Tuishuis

The Orania Ru00e9hobot Self-Help Tuishuis is an overnight accommodation facility situated in the town of Orania, which is located midway between Gauteng and the Cape, on the banks of the Orange River. It offers self-catering units, including a Small Apartment and a Big Apartment, with fully equipped kitchens featuring small stoves, refrigerators, microwaves, kettles, and toasters, as well as cooking utensils, flatware, and cutlery. Linens are provided, and towels are available upon request for a small fee.

The Small Apartment accommodates two adults and one child, with two single beds, a cot upon request, a bathroom with a shower, and a small kitchen with a breakfast nook. The Big Apartment can accommodate a maximum of five guests, featuring an open-plan lounge/kitchen area with a breakfast nook, a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, and a sleeper couch in the lounge area.

The facility offers parking and braai facilities in deep shade, with under-cover parking available for guests in the Small Apartment. It is within walking distance of restaurants, grocery stores, gift shops, and the Tourist Information Centre, where bicycles can be rented to explore the town's activities. Nearby attractions include the museum, bird-watching opportunities, rock art sites in the surrounding hills, the Monument Koppie, Koeksister Monument, Boekehuis, and Verwoerd museum.

The Big Apartment's rates are displayed for the first two guests, with additional charges for each additional adult (R90) and children under 12 years old (R60). Guests are advised to inquire for precise rates.
