Oudekloof Wine Estate & Guest House is a farm located at the foot of the historical Oudekloof pass. To reach the farm, one has to cross the Klein Berg river, creating a clear boundary between the city life and the splendid isolation of the farm. Upon arrival at the homestead, visitors are greeted with a view similar to the one that the early travelers saw when they came over the Obiqwa mountains.

Separated from the village and perched high up on the mountainside, the farm offers a sense of peace and tranquility, where one can wander along the trails and farm roads undisturbed by schedules and routines. Just outside the door, adventure awaits in the form of challenging hiking and mountain bike trails that crisscross the valley. There is endless exploration to be done on the routes once used by brave travelers.

For those not seeking adventure, the Oude stoor offers wine tasting and local produce, or guests can book a tractor ride to take them up the mountain for breathtaking scenes of the Tulbagh valley, Witzenberg mountains, and The Swartland. Visitors can come for a day, a weekend, or longer to experience the magic of Oudekloof and create their own memories in this lovely, pristine "first" valley.

The accommodation options include a three-bedroom house with a private pool and five laborers' cottages that were lovingly restored into self-catering units. All accommodations are fully equipped with towels, bedding, and kitchen necessities. Every cottage has a portable braai and a "stoep-with-a-view." The laborers' cottages are situated among fruit and nut trees and have a small herb and veggie garden where guests can "pick-what-you-need" and enjoy fresh produce.

One of the accommodation options is a studio-style, self-catering cottage set as a little hamlet with four other cottages in a garden with spacious general areas and a swimming pool. It offers beautiful views over the Tulbagh valley and mountains.
