Ouplaas Farm Guest House

Ouplaas Farm Guest House is a historical sandstone building located just outside of Ottosdal in the North West Province. It possesses a distinct character and old-world charm, surrounded by age-old trees and a lush green garden. The fully-catered facility offers world-class service with comfortable conference and wedding facilities.

Guests can enjoy various activities on the farm, including water sports on a large dam, canoeing, swimming, tennis courts, bird watching, horse riding, and hiking. The farm, Holfontein, on which Ouplaas Guest House is situated, has been part of the Coetzee family since 1856 and is rich in history and anecdotes from past years.

The hosts, Coert and Magdalena Coetzee, have been living and working on the farm for the past 30 years. Magdalena's love of music, people, interior decorating, and good food contribute to the distinctive character and atmosphere of Ouplaas. Coert and Magdalena are known for their hospitality and style, providing guests with an experience of farm life and the peacefulness it brings.

The former horse stables have been revamped to accommodate five beds, making it an ideal room for families or teams working on contracts in the North West region.
