Overmeer Guest House, meaning "Over the Lake," is strategically positioned high above Knysna, offering sweeping views of the Knysna Lagoon and surrounding hills. Located just five minutes from town, the establishment comprises two distinct houses: a luxury 4-star graded house with beautiful lagoon views and a standard ungraded house catering to budget-conscious travelers.

The property features nine luxury 4-star graded rooms and three standard rooms, plus a family unit. The luxury rooms, situated across first and second floors, feature full bathrooms with separate toilets, private spa baths, balconies, and air conditioning. These rooms offer open-plan layouts with tea and coffee kitchenettes, smart TVs, and bar fridges, all complemented by lagoon views.

The standard accommodation includes three rooms with patio/balcony access and a family unit that can accommodate up to six people. The family unit consists of three bedrooms (one double, two twin) and two bathrooms with showers, plus a lounge area.
