Oyster Bay Lodge is a private coastal reserve situated on 100 hectares of unspoiled landscape, bordered by 3.5 kilometers of private sandy beach. The setting is picturesque, featuring dunes, woods, river deltas, beaches, wetlands, lagoons, and home to free-roaming horses and an extensive birdlife. The lodge has 10 comfortable guestrooms and 4 luxury chalets. It also has an intimate restaurant with excellent cuisine, a lounge, and an ocean viewing bar.

The freestanding chalets offer private verandahs with uninterrupted sea views, lounges with fireplaces, underfloor heating, kitchenettes, and open-plan bathrooms. Guests can enjoy activities such as walking, birding, horse riding, mountain biking, or picnics. The lodge is located close to scuba diving, whale watching, deep sea fishing, 4x4 trails, Tsitsikamma, Addo Elephant, and Baviaanskloof Reserves.

Oyster Bay Lodge is a recognized TGCSA 4-Star Lodge with Fairtrade certification. The owners of the lodge speak English and Afrikaans. The lodge offers guided tours of the reserve and nature, with a stop at a lookout point for a snack and water. These tours are available daily, with optional extras, and a maximum of 10 guests per vehicle.

The lodge can assist with special occasions by providing slipper baths in the rooms, open showers, beautifully decorated rooms, and a small gift. The lodge is flexible and can accommodate clients' specific needs. A new championship golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus is located just 20 kilometers from Oyster Bay Lodge.

Oyster Bay Lodge offers various activities, including dune safaris, sandboarding, mountain biking, dairy experiences, beach horse rides, bird fynbos and wetland walks, township tours, river kayaking, hiking trails, dune picnics, and South African braai/spitbraai.
