The Oyster Box Self Catering Home is a well-equipped holiday home situated in Franskraal, located approximately 3km from Kleinbaai in the Overberg area. It offers a cosy and comfortable accommodation for those who appreciate finer things in a home. The area is renowned for shark-cage diving, whale watching tours featuring Southern Right Whales, and the nearby town of Gansbaai. The coastline features beautiful sea and mountain views, fynbos, and walking trails, providing an ideal environment for relaxation and unwinding.

The home features three bedrooms, two of which are furnished with a double and queen-size bed, respectively, overlooking the patio, garden, and partial sea views. The third bedroom has two single beds facing the front garden. Two bedrooms are equipped with mosquito nets. Additionally, there is a double sleeper couch in the living area, offering extra sleeping space for two adults or children. The rooms are equipped with quality mattresses and linens, but guests are required to bring their own beach towels.

The living area opens up to a tiled outdoor patio with a built-in braai (barbecue), garden, and partial sea views, along with patio furniture. The home is equipped with modern amenities, including a flat-screen Smart TV with DSTV (Access package) in the living area and uncapped Wi-Fi internet throughout the property.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric stove and oven, fridge with deep-freeze, smoothie-maker, toaster, sandwich press, frying pan/slow-cooker, microwave oven, kettle, coffee plunger, and a vacuum cleaner. Additionally, an iron and ironing board are provided. The dining room is adjacent to the kitchen and lounge, with a table seating 6-8 persons.

The home features one and a half bathrooms, including an en-suite (shower, basin, and toilet) for the main bedroom and a separate bathroom (bath, basin, and toilet) shared by the other two rooms. Extra touches include a decorated Christmas tree in December upon request, magazines, books, and games for guests to enjoy during their stay. Beach umbrellas and chairs are also provided for memorable days on the beach.

The property offers private off-street parking and an alarm system with 24-hour armed response, as well as the Franskraal neighborhood watch. Burglar bars are installed on the windows for added security.
