The house called Taliesin is located on Thesen Island in Knysna Lagoon, which is connected to the mainland by a causeway and is a gated community, providing privacy and security. It is situated very close to the water's edge, with the high tide reaching the lower deck. Taliesin offers luxurious self-catering accommodation and has a housekeeper who attends to the property from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm on weekdays, with the option of arranging housekeeping services for the weekends if required.

Taliesin can accommodate up to 12 guests in luxury, with five of the six bedrooms being en-suite. The house has a spacious and airy feel, with numerous windows and high ceilings that allow the Knysna breezes to flow through. The accommodation features multiple decks offering stunning views of the famous Knysna Heads and Lagoon, a large built-in braai area, a 10-meter solar-heated pool, a large TV screen with satellite and surround sound, two TV lounges, beautiful gardens, and underfloor heating throughout the property.

Taliesin is conveniently located near an island beach, tennis and squash courts, several renowned golf courses, and has its own dock for a 7.5-meter boat. The property is in close proximity to many exceptional restaurants, including the award-winning Ile du Pain. Additionally, there is a 16-kilometer safe cycling route on the islands, and a bird reserve is just a two-minute walk away.
