Palmer's Rock

Palmer's Rock is a holiday accommodation located on the Glenmore Beach, directly on the waterfront, in Port Edward. It offers an idyllic and rejuvenating holiday experience on the stunning South Coast. The accommodation has a prime seafront location, providing guests with breathtaking views of the warm Indian Ocean from the expansive deck, just 80 meters away.

Palmer's Rock provides accommodation in both the main house and a separate cottage. The main house is equipped with solar panels, ensuring an eco-friendly stay for guests. It comfortably accommodates 6 individuals across 3 bedrooms. The fully equipped kitchen includes a stove, oven, fridge, microwave, coffee and tea-making facilities, as well as a complete set of crockery and cutlery. The lounge area features plush seating, while the delightful deck offers mesmerizing views and superb braai facilities.

Guests may have the opportunity to spot majestic whales during their season or playful dolphins frolicking in the waves. A gas braai is available on the deck, and a wood braai is located adjacent to the house. The cottage is not suitable for children or pets, and it accommodates 4 adults across 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet, and basin. The second bedroom has 2 single beds.

Entertainment options include a smart TV, and guests can enjoy meals while taking in the captivating sea and rock views from the dining room. A covered and semi-sheltered braai room is available, featuring a gas braai, a built-in braai, and a small basin. A weekday cleaner can be arranged for convenience, but cleaners are not available on weekends or public holidays. Guests are welcome to bring their own DStv decoder, board games, books, or any other entertainment they desire.
