The lodge features six bedrooms arranged in three chalets, accommodating up to 12 guests total. The property is designed with wooden walkways connecting elevated cabins, all offering views of both the river and the central swimming pool. The accommodation options include rooms equipped with various combinations of double beds, single beds, and sofa beds. All rooms feature private bathrooms, with some offering additional outdoor showers. Standard amenities include ceiling fans, gas heaters, bar fridges, and tea/coffee stations. The shared facilities include fully equipped kitchens with gas stoves, refrigerators, and all necessary cooking utensils.

The lodge offers both self-catering and half-board options. Guests can enjoy multiple braai (barbecue) areas and boma fire pits for evening entertainment, while observing Thick-tailed Bushbabies in the surrounding trees. The property, being outside a Big 5 area, is safe for morning walks and runs. Additional activities include game drives and bush walks, with Max specializing in bird watching guides.

The location serves as an excellent base for exploring nearby attractions including Kruger National Park, Magoebaskloof Canopy Tours, Jessica the Hippo, the Panorama Route, Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, and the Hoedspruit Reptile Centre. Maris, a former nurse, ensures personal attention to guests, welcoming them with complimentary house wine upon arrival.
