Guests need to bring their own food, drinks, and toiletries. Firewood for the fireplaces is provided.

Water's Edge House can accommodate 8 adults and 2 small children. It has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The main bedroom is en-suite and sleeps 2 adults and 2 small children. There is a sleeper couch in the living room, and guests sleeping there use the guest bathroom with a shower. The other two bedrooms are downstairs, outside the house, and share a bathroom. This house is suitable for accompanying friends or another family. Smoking is not permitted inside the house.

Forest House can accommodate 10 people in 5 bedrooms, 2 of which are en-suite. It features a kitchen, dining area, lounge, and deck overlooking the dam. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, cutlery, crockery, and an 8-seater dining table. The lounge has a fireplace for cozy nights indoors.

The area offers numerous activities, including hiking trails in the Woodbush Forest (the second-largest indigenous forest in South Africa), visiting a local cheese farm, exploring the village of Haenertsburg, enjoying tea at local establishments with scenic views, picnicking at the Debegeni waterfalls, and bird watching in the indigenous forest. Guided birding, fly fishing, horse riding, kloofing/canyoneering, rock climbing, abseiling, and 4X4 trails can be arranged. The Kruger National Park is also within a 90-minute drive.

On rainy days, guests can relax in front of the fireplace, play games, read books, visit nearby attractions like the Big Boabab Tree, Modjadji Cycad Forest, Agatha Crocodile Farm, or the Coach House for tea and nougat. The Kruger Park is also an option for a day trip. Guests can simply enjoy the company of their family and friends during their stay.
