Periwinkle 1

Periwinkle 1 is a self-catering retreat located on a hill overlooking the Ramsgate Blue Flag swimming beach. It offers a coastal getaway experience with stunning views of the ocean and tidal pool.

The accommodation features a spacious main bedroom with a double bed, built-in wardrobe, and a private veranda overlooking the ocean. The second bedroom is designed for children with a single bed and various toys. The third and fourth bedrooms offer twin beds and single beds respectively, along with built-in wardrobes and vanities.

There are two shared bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bathtub. Linens, bath towels, and swimming towels are provided. A storage room includes an ice machine, SodaStream, and water filter for convenience.

The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering needs, including cutlery, cooking utensils, crockery, a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, kettle, toaster, and coffee machine. Guests can enjoy their meals at the breakfast corner or the dining table seating six. The dining room opens to a small balcony.

The lounge area features leather couches, books, board games, and a TV with a DSTV connection point (guests need to bring their own decoder and smart card). It leads to a veranda with a long table for twelve guests and a gas braai. Outside, there is a wooden deck, a communal saltwater swimming pool, and two outdoor showers. The pool room offers a couch, table, fridge, and a bathroom with a shower, washbasin, and toilet.

Secure parking is available in a lock-up garage accessible via a remote control gate. The apartment has its own water supply from two tanks. Nearby, guests can enjoy activities such as horse riding, swimming, bird watching, whale watching, cycling, hiking, bodyboarding, and surfing. Various restaurants, antique shops, a service station, and shopping malls are located within the vicinity.
