Phefumula Country Retreat

Phefumula Country Retreat is a luxurious and secluded establishment located in the mountains, offering cottages with magnificent views of the crags. Each cottage features an open-plan lounge, dining area, and kitchen, as well as a separate bedroom with a beautiful king-size bed. The bathrooms are open-plan and include a double bath, double inside shower, separate toilet and bidet, double outside shower, and a secluded spa bath on the patio.

Complimentary port is served on chilly winter nights, and outdoor furniture is available for comfortable dining on the patio. Guests can arrange for meals cooked by the resident chef upon request. The retreat offers various outdoor activities, such as hiking to the top of the Magaliesberg mountain and along the ridge, enjoying panoramic views of the oldest mountain range in the southern hemisphere. Picnic baskets with homemade goodies can be booked for lunch during the hikes.

Mountain biking and horse riding are also available along numerous trails surrounding the retreat. Phefumula is surrounded by game farms on three sides and the Magaliesberg Protected Nature Environment on the fourth side, providing opportunities to spot various animals during walks or rides. Guests are encouraged to bring their cameras to capture the spectacular scenery.
