Phezulu, 74 Nkwazi Drive, Zinkwazi Beach

The holiday home named "Phezulu" is located at 74 Nkwazi Drive in Zinkwazi Beach, situated on the North coast of KwaZulu-Natal. It is well-equipped and excellently positioned with easy access to the beach via the main entrance. The location offers a peaceful environment for relaxation. Guests can enjoy a cocktail in the Jacuzzi (with one setting only: "Warm-ish") or soak up the sun on the lawn.

Positioned across the road from the beach, the house offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a 5-bedroom holiday home. Guests can enjoy partial ocean views from the Jacuzzi, which overlooks the front lawn. Phezulu features a lovely covered veranda, a lawn for children, braai facilities, and DSTV, but no Wi-Fi or servicing. Guests can drive right to the back door, and once on the driveway, there are no stairs to access the house or inside for those with mobility challenges. However, the driveway itself is steep.

The house is secured by fencing, walls, gates, beams, and armed response. There are two lockup garages and additional parking spaces. A gas bottle, cooker, and rechargeable lights are provided for load-shedding times. Inside, there is a well-appointed, open-plan lounge, dining room, and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a large fridge/freezer, oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, and all necessary cutlery and crockery. Laundry facilities include a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The house can accommodate up to 9 guests, with a maximum of 7 adults and 2 children under 12. All bedrooms have ceiling fans, built-in cupboards, and hangers. There are 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, configured as follows: Main bedroom with a king-size bed and en-suite with shower, toilet, and basin; 2nd bedroom with a queen-size bed; 3rd bedroom with a single bed; 4th bedroom with a bunk bed and en-suite toilet; 5th bedroom in a separate flat with a double bed and en-suite with shower, toilet, and basin. Additionally, there is a family bathroom with a bath, shower, toilet, and basin.

Please note that the property does not accept groups of adults, only catering to "nucleus" family holidays. No functions of any kind are permitted, and pets are not allowed. Additional charges may apply, such as a breakage deposit (10% of the accommodation value, minimum R2500, refundable if no breakages or repairs are required) and a maid fee of R250 per day (Monday to Saturday only, Sundays and public holidays at double rate).

During peak season, minimum stay requirements apply. For bookings including Christmas and New Year, the minimum stay is 10-14 nights. For bookings including only Christmas, the minimum stay is 7-10 nights, ending no later than December 27th or 28th. For bookings including only New Year, the minimum stay is 7-10 nights, starting no earlier than December 27th or 28th. Shorter stays before and after this period (a minimum of 5 nights) may be considered once the owner has secured their primary bookings.
