Phumuza Bush Lodge

Phumuza Bush Lodge is located a 10-minute drive from the town of Bela Bela, which offers a variety of shops, restaurants, Aventura Hot Springs Resort, an African market, and other attractions. The name "Phumuza" means "take a break" in Zulu, reflecting the lodge's emphasis on relaxation.

The self-catering chalets and log cabins at Phumuza Bush Lodge are fully equipped with kitchens that include a cooker, fridge with freezer, and barbecue facilities. Crockery, cutlery, and linen are provided, but guests need to bring their own towels and dishcloths.

Phumuza Bush Lodge offers 100 acres of diverse indigenous bushveld, abundant bird life, and small game. There is a lookout tower that provides a scenic view of a natural rock pool, ideal for a romantic picnic, with picnic baskets available upon request. The terrain is relatively flat, with well-marked paths for interesting walks.

Guests can cool off in the refreshing pool after exploring the bush trails or watch the tranquil sunset while relaxing around the natural rock pool. Alternatively, they can rise early to witness the enchanting sunrise at Leopards Rock, named after the sighting of a female leopard and her two cubs.

The lodge has a cancellation policy in place, where no refunds are allowed during peak seasons, and alterations to confirmed bookings may incur an admin fee.
