Pinnacle Point Beach and Golf Resort is a prestigious establishment located in the heart of South Africa's Garden Route in Mossel Bay. This world-class golf estate features one of the Western Cape's most spectacular golf courses, offering dramatic ocean views and picturesque vistas of the Outenikwa Mountains against a backdrop of indigenous fynbos vegetation.

The resort, which opened in 2006 under the design of Peter Matkovich, gained international recognition when it was included in the top 10 new courses globally in 2007. Professional golfer Darren Clark has rated it as the best golf course on the planet, and in 2016, it was voted the best golf course in South Africa. It holds the distinction of being the only golf resort in the Garden Route and Western Cape region to incorporate a casino, which hosts live entertainment and various dining options.

The property features luxury self-catering terraced duplex units with sea views, available in two and three-bedroom configurations. The villas are elegantly appointed with high-end finishes and include fully equipped kitchens, covered patios with braai facilities, and en-suite bathrooms. A small pool with deck chairs is available in the terraced grounds.

Beyond golf, the resort offers numerous amenities including a day spa, nature reserve with wildlife viewing opportunities, bird watching facilities, and two private sandy beaches. The St. Blaizes Trail, a scenic 9-kilometer hiking trail, partially traverses the property. The resort also features mountain bike trails, walking paths, and historically significant caves that can be toured with a guide.

The climate at Pinnacle Point is notably mild, with warm, dry summers and mild winters. Mossel Bay enjoys a unique microclimate with approximately 320 sunny days annually and most rainfall occurring at night. The location serves as an important archaeological site, with cave remains near the clubhouse dating back thousands of years, representing some of the earliest evidence of human ancestors.

The resort's position makes it an ideal base for exploring the Garden Route's attractions, including mountain hiking trails, surfing beaches, whale watching spots (particularly from June to October), scuba diving locations, deep-sea fishing areas, and inland attractions such as ostrich farms and the Kango Caves.
