Plato Lodge is a thatched lodge situated in the Northern Cape of South Africa, approximately 50 kilometers from the Augrabies Falls. The nearby Augrabies Falls National Park is a national park situated around the Augrabies Falls, about 120 kilometers west of Upington. The Augrabies Falls National Park is an arid region that stretches along the Orange River, and the waterfall stands at approximately 60 meters high, presenting an awe-inspiring sight when the river is in flood. The original Khoikhoi people named the waterfall Ankoerebis, meaning "the place of big noises." The Trekboers who later settled in the area derived the name Augrabies, and the name is sometimes spelled as Aughrabies. The area is renowned for its photographic opportunities, particularly with regard to the quiver trees.

The lodge offers accommodation in twin or double rooms, each featuring either a king-size bed or twin single beds, an en-suite shower, a mini-bar, tea and coffee-making facilities, and a balcony. Additionally, the lodge provides braai and bar facilities, as well as on-site parking.
