Platrand Lodge

Platrand Lodge is a 4-star establishment situated in a malaria-free area. It is located approximately 2 hours away from Durban and 3 hours from Johannesburg. The lodge was established on the farm Fourie's Kraal, on the southern boundaries of Ladysmith, Kwazulu-Natal.

Constructed in the colonial era style, featuring long overhanging roofs and generous verandahs, Platrand Lodge is set in an enchanting valley. The lodge offers luxury accommodation, conference and wedding facilities with impressive views and friendly service. It is located in a fertile valley that frames the Drakensberg Mountains, and its wedding venue overlooks this picturesque setting.

The lodge has a designated children's area, a swimming pool, and a children's jungle gym area. It also features a 4-bedroom self-catering house with 2 bathrooms, a fully-fitted kitchen, and a private boma located in the African bush.
