Plett River Lodge is a stunning guest house situated on the banks of the Bitou River. It is located approximately 5 kilometers from Plettenberg Bay and is considered one of the top holiday destinations along the picturesque Garden Route. The lodge is set within private tree-lined gardens with unobstructed river frontage, offering luxury accommodation for discerning guests seeking a relaxed holiday.

Plett River Lodge provides comfortable accommodation in 7 spacious en-suite rooms, consisting of four Double Rooms, one Twin Room, and two Family Rooms. The rooms are beautifully and simply decorated in a rustic, contemporary style with cement floors, woven-coir rugs, neutral colors, and warm fabrics. Each room features a luxury en-suite bathroom equipped with a bath, shower, and double vanities. The rooms are airy and light, with large windows offering panoramic views of the Bitou River or the estate gardens. Amenities in each room include a dressing table, television, and panel heater.

Five of the rooms open through double doors onto a viewing deck overlooking the Bitou River. These rooms have a private section of covered deck, as well as a comfortable seating area under a reed roof. The Family Rooms offer either twin beds or a sleeper couch for two children under the age of 12, and cots are available upon request.

Guests can witness an exquisite morning sunrise over the Bitou River and listen to the sound of a fish eagle calling in the distance. Binoculars are provided for guests to identify the prolific bird life from the vast deck, which extends over the river. At sunset, guests can unwind with a glass of wine on the deck or in the comfortable lounge, where they are encouraged to make themselves at home. Children are welcome, and the lodge has provided swings and a jungle gym for them in the garden. The friendly and experienced staff offer babysitting services, allowing guests to enjoy an evening out on their own.

Guests staying at the River Lodge are offered a 20% discount on Game Drives or Horse Safaris at the Plettenberg Bay Game Reserve. Additionally, there is a secluded and private River Facing Honeymoon Room available.
