Point Lodge

Point Lodge is a prestigious accommodation establishment located in Knysna, Western Cape, South Africa, offering spectacular views across the lagoon towards the Knysna Heads. This gracious double-storey building, personally managed by Ryk and Amanda Cloete, is set in beautiful gardens that attract diverse bird species.

The lodge features nine en-suite rooms, each individually decorated and equipped with modern amenities including television, safe, tea and coffee facilities, hairdryer, ceiling fans, and heaters. The rooms offer views of either the lagoon, swimming pool, or gardens, with some including a separate sun lounge and patio.

Guests can enjoy a full English and continental buffet breakfast served in the sunny dining room. The establishment features a comfortable guest lounge and honesty bar overlooking the lagoon. On-site facilities include a swimming pool, laundry service, private off-street parking, disabled-friendly facilities, and Wi-Fi internet access. Canoes are available for guest use directly from the lodge.

These include golf courses, mountain biking trails, lagoon cruises, the Featherbed Nature Reserve, scuba diving, tennis, horse riding, fishing, and sailing charters. Seasonal whale and dolphin watching is available from August to November.
