Portofino

Portofino is a self-catering home located in the small village of Ramsgate, on the South Coast of South Africa. It is situated in a quiet dead-end road, offering a view overlooking the sea. The home is surrounded by the sounds of birds, frogs, trees, and the sea breeze, creating a tranquil and natural environment.

Portofino is a spacious and airy four-bedroom home that allows guests to enjoy the sea views from every room. The fully equipped home can accommodate up to ten guests and provides amenities such as air conditioning downstairs, a DSTV/PVR installation (guests need to bring their own decoder and cables), and the option for servicing upon request (not included in the price).

The sleeping arrangements include one king XL bed, one queen bed, one tri-bunk (double bed at the bottom and single on top), one double bunk bed, and two single beds. The home also features a JoJo tank and is pet-friendly. Additionally, there is a full gym on the premises, but it is not available for use by visitors.

Portofino is conveniently located near Ramsgate Beach, and guests can access the beach and lagoon by taking a short stroll down some stairs. The area offers various attractions, including the Waffle House, Blue Lagoon, and the Blue Flag-certified Ramsgate Beach. Numerous golf courses and fishing spots are also nearby, catering to different interests.

The home features an enormous balcony overlooking the sea, providing a perfect setting for entertaining friends and family while potentially spotting whales and dolphins. Fine dining options offering various cuisines are within walking distance, ensuring guests can indulge in delectable meals without venturing too far.
