Potteberg Guest Farm is a working farm that offers visitors cottage-style accommodation situated on the boundary of the De Hoop Nature Reserve. The self-catering flat has a private entrance and an en-suite double room with linen and towels provided. The kitchen is fully equipped, but delicious farm-style meals can be served on request. There are braai facilities with wood provided for South African cuisine. The farm house is surrounded by a beautiful garden for relaxation in the warm sun.

One of the highlights for guests is a tour of the farm in Niel's 'bakkie', with opportunities to view eland, large flocks of blue cranes, and Cape Griffon vultures soaring overhead. The farm produces wheat, sheep, ostrich, and dairy products. It serves as an ideal base for exploring the De Hoop Reserve and participating in local activities such as whale watching, mountain biking, hiking, snorkeling, game viewing, and birdwatching.

Recently, a bird hide has been added, allowing guests to observe bird life up close, including sightings of Cape Griffon vultures, blue cranes, and the Augulhas Clapper Lark, among others. The road south from Bredasdorp leads to the historic village of Kassiesbaai at Arniston/Waenhuiskrans and further to Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of Africa where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet.

The flat consists of one bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a single bed in the living room, and the front porch overlooks the garden.
